Placita Latina is working with Haints and Saints this year to resurrect Decatur’s popular Halloween-themed parade, this year with a Dias de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) twist – watch for giant Katrina puppets! This will be the closing event for the month-long Placita Latina Hispanic heritage celebrations throughout the city.

Join us for a fun evening that celebrates the community and LatinX culture. Everyone is welcome! Put on your best, weirdest, cutest or most beautiful costumes. Cultural appreciation and costumes encouraged. Pull your friends, families or co-workers together for a marching group, create a float, or join us in your classic cars.

The parade begins at Decatur Cemetery and wraps up on the square with a musical jam session and celebration.

Want to be in the parade? Sign up here NOW to march, or register a float or a car.
